The Advanced Informatization Journey of HTEC
WuXi Hi-Tec Environmental Material Co., Ltd.(HTEC) was founded in 2009. After 15 years of development, it now has two major material industries: EPP foam materials and WANMA-TECH NEW MATERIAL. With 10 wholly-owned holding parent and subsidiary companies, the company has continuously expanded in scale, and its refined management requirements urgently need informatization support.
To better achieve the company's strategic planning, 2024 marks the launch of the company's informatization strategy implementation. In the first phase, the company introduced the U9C-ERP multi-organization and multi-business management system from UFIDA. The goal is to use the U9C system as an intermediate bridge to connect the originally independent production MES management system, marketing CRM customer relationship management system, and financial U8ERP system, achieving interconnection and data sharing of business data (production and marketing) and financial data..png)
The company's informatization project was officially launched in January 2024. With the strong support and attention of leaders at all levels, and through the joint efforts of the company's informatization project implementation team and all staff of the UFIDA project team, the work of each project phase was carried out as planned. The project was officially launched for operation on July 1, 2024, and passed the preliminary acceptance in December.
From the implementation and operation of the first phase of the informatization project, the following objectives have been preliminarily achieved:
- Accurate grasp of customer needs: The CRM system records a large amount of customer information and historical interaction data, the MES system reflects the actual production situation, and the U9 system integrates comprehensive resource information such as the enterprise's finance and inventory. After the three systems are connected, the enterprise can comprehensively understand customer order history, preferences, and special requirements for products. Combining with production capacity and resource status, it can more accurately predict customers' future needs, make advance product planning and production arrangements, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Improvement of sales efficiency and order processing speed: After sales personnel receive customer orders through the CRM system, the information can be real-time synchronized to the MES system for production arrangement, and simultaneously transmitted to the U9 system for financial accounting and inventory allocation. This makes the order processing process smoother, reduces data re-entry errors and improves manual communication efficiency, greatly shortens the order cycle from receipt to delivery, thereby improving sales efficiency and helping the enterprise seize more market opportunities.
- Enhancement of financial management efficiency and accuracy: As the core management system of the enterprise, the U9 system, after being connected with the CRM and MES systems, enables real-time update and accurate accounting of financial data. Information such as sales order revenue, production costs, and inventory costs is automatically synchronized to the financial system, reducing the workload of manual bookkeeping and reconciliation, and improving the accuracy and timeliness of financial data. The finance department can provide more timely data support for enterprise decision-making, helping the enterprise reasonably plan funds and optimize financial conditions.
- Reduction of inventory cost levels: The inventory management module in the U9 system, combined with the order information of the CRM system and the production plan of the MES system, enables the enterprise to carry out precise inventory procurement and management according to actual needs. This avoids inventory backlog or out-of-stock situations caused by information blockages, reduces inventory costs, and improves capital turnover rate.
The company will continue to advance informatization work in the future. On the one hand, it will deepen the functions of existing systems. On the other hand, it will continue to promote the integration of OA management platform, TMS system, SRM system with the ERP system, further deepen the integration and sharing of business data and financial data, and help the company's refined management and digital factory construction.
